14 Warwick boys took part in the Cambridge Chemistry challenge for Lower Sixth students. It was a great success with all achieving a certificate in this tough competition! Copper, Silver, Gold and Roentgenium certificates were awarded. (You may wish to look in the periodic table to understand this geeky choice of elements!)

Special mention goes to Peter Lau, who was one of 56 students in the country who won the prestigious Roentgenium, only given to the highest achievers, the top 0.8% of students entered. He attended a Chemistry camp at the University of Cambridge last August, and has been given the privilege of going to a reception at the Royal Society.

Copper: Riordan Barry, Adam Lin, Carl Martin, Thomas Meldrum, Eushaa Mirza, Ross Newton, Richard Phillips.

Silver: Cosmos Chan, Justin Chung, Chris Lee
Gold: Conor Cafolla, Isaac Mond, Dan Myers

Roentgenium: Peter Lau
